World's Strongest Nganu's PFL "Actively Cooperation with Asian Games"

The Professional Fighters League, a U.S. mixed martial arts (MMA) organization, has expressed its intention to help the summer Asian Games to the best of its ability.

The 20th Summer Asian Games will be held from September 19 to October 4, 2026 in Aichi - Nagoya, Japan. The 93rd Asian Olympic Council (OCA) Executive Committee has added mixed martial arts to its competition program.

PFL matchmaker Mike Cogan said when asked about MK Sports, "I understand well what the meaning and opportunity of a national team at the Asian Games means to all athletes. I will actively support participation in the 2026 Asian Games."

OCA plans to hold the 20th Asian Games with 43 sports, 10 more sports than the 33rd Paris Summer Olympics in 2024, to solidify its status and position as the world's largest comprehensive competition.

The mixed martial arts at the 2026 Asian Games will consist of six weight classes, including ▲ men's modern 60kg 71kg ▲ men's traditional 65kg 77kg ▲ women's modern 54kg ▲ women's traditional 60kg.

The PFL surprised the world one after another by signing Francis Ngannou (39, Cameroon), the 22nd UFC heavyweight (120kg) champion, in May 2023 and acquiring Bellator, the U.S. MMA in November of that year.

From April to August, the 2025 PFL World Tournament will be held with a total prize money of more than $20 million (28.77 billion won), including $4 million (57.5 billion won) in eight weight class winners.

According to the "Fight Matrix," there are only two mixed martial arts competitions with more than 230 world rankers and their average world ranking is in the top 140.

Mike Cogan said, "I will be very proud of the achievements made by our fighters outside the cage. I will respect the will of the fighters and do everything possible to cooperate with related organizations," stressing that the PFL is open to the Asian Games.

At the 2025 PFL World Tournament, the welterweight (77kg), featherweight (66kg), bantamweight (61kg) and women's flyweight (57kg) rosters have been confirmed. Among the 40 preliminary entries, there are Asian fighters including ▲ Japan, ▲ Korea, and ▲ Tajikistan.

Expanding the scope to △ Super Fight △ Champions League △ PFL MENA (Middle East + North Africa), as well as the other four weight world tournaments that have not yet been announced, will further increase the number of Asian players in the Professional Fighters League. 바카라사이트

The OCA Sports Council declared in Kuwait in August 2022 that it "wants fast-growing MMA to enter the Asian Games, but will not partner with existing international/global MMA organizations."

▲All countries that have joined the OCA were encouraged to establish MMA federations for each country and join the ▲ Association of Asian MMA, which will be made in the future. AMMA held its inaugural meeting in Singapore on December 31, 2022.

Korea's MMA Federation (Chairman Oh Jun-hyuk) is a member of the Asian MMA. AMMA has advanced to the Asian Games in 769 days (2 years, 1 month and 7 days) since its foundation. The Aichi-Nagoya competition in Japan will open 1359 days (3 years, 8 months and 20 days) from the organization's formation.
